Nominees and awardees meet the following criteria:

• In the case of businesses, Cypriot companies are registered with the Registrar of Companies and have significant activities in Cyprus.
• In the case of individuals (managers), the base of their activities is Cyprus. The Cypriot Professional/Entrepreneur who excels abroad award is excluded.
• Companies, whose executives participate in the Committee, are eligible for nomination in the awards process. However, these executives are not entitled to vote for the companies they work for.
• Sponsors and their executives are eligible for nominations in the categories.

The candidates for each category of the IN Business Awards are selected by an Evaluation Committee, which consists of more than 30 personalities from organizations and links in the business and wider socio-economic field. Subsequently, the awardees are announced by the public vote and by a second vote of the Committee with a weighting percentage of 50% – 50%.
